A LITTLEÂ ABOUT ME
Wellness for Life
I’m so glad you stopped by! I have lived in Alaska for about 30 years. When I’m not on my mat, I can be found outside doing anything to get my hands and feet dirty, or in my kitchen where I love to prepare healthy food for my family. I have been practicing yoga for about 15 years consecutively. I really fell in love with the practice while in college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where I earned a Bachelors of Business Administration, when I began experiencing injuries from running. Noticing the immediate difference, and then the benefit from consistency, I knew I had to know more about this beautiful practice. A diagnosis of Asthma and Vocal Cord Disfunction really brought the full circle to light for me. I began studying everything about the yogic lifestyle. My favorite areas of interest are Power and Vinyasa style yogas, Pranyama, Ayruveda, and overall Wellness. I received my 200 hour RYT certification in early 2022, and I am currently working on a Wellness Coach certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine. Thank you for including me, you are a great instructor and friend. I've only done yoga maybe 5 times in my life, and IÂ loved it!
